The MEA Offshore Fishing Team

In 2005 several members of the Metro East Anglers decided to form a competitive offshore fishing team. Having worked together for several years in the MEA to improve fishing opportunities in and around Toronto, we decided it was time to take advantage of all our hard work and see how we could do in the competitive Lake Ontario Salmon Tournaments and promote the great work our club does for the fishery at the same time. All our Offshore Fishing Team members have over 16 years experience fishing out in Lake Ontario, a lifetime of experience steam fishing rainbows,  and have raised from egg, over 500k Rainbows, Atlantics, Browns, Chinook each, for release in Toronto area streams.
