Text Box: Previously known as the Metro East Steelhead and Salmon Fishermen, the club today supports an increased membership of dedicated anglers and conservationists.
MEA participates in a broad range of fishery and watershed rehabilitation activities. From rearing fish at the Parkview Hatchery for release into local streams, to stream rehabilitation programs with Ontario Streams. Working with the local community, club members are dedicated to the improvement and conservation of our fisheries and environment in the Rouge River and neighboring watersheds as well as across Ontario.
The MEA works closely with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources on all initiatives involving stream and fisheries rehabilitation.
